J-1 Agricultural Exchange
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The ACT Program comes with a wide range of expertise and life experience. The idea is to give the youth in Agriculture the opportunity to immerse in a new Agric-culture, explore and become experts in modern agricultural practices.
1st Flight Africa Cultural Exchange, recruits eligible candidates to participate in Agriculture training programs within the US Department of State’s J1 exchange visitor program.
After the program, our participants are required to return to their various communities to implement the knowledge acquired towards sustainable Agricultural production; enhance food security and safety, and create employment in their communities. The program is designed for beginners, graduates, and farmers.

Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for the ACT Program and J-1 Agric Trainee Program
ACT PROGRAM REQUIREMENT
J-1 AGRIC TRAINEE REQUIREMENT
Documents to be supplied by our program partners for your interview at the U.S embassy
SEVIS I-901 form fee unless you live in a country that does not permit online payment for SEVIS. For most candidates, Our program partners will file and pay the form upon receipt of your initial program deposit and SEVIS invoice. You will be required to have a SEVIS Receipt before you attend your interview.

Program Fees (USD)
A. Enrollment Fee — US$100
Applicants are required to pay a NON REFUNDABLE amount of $100 enrollment fee for the Agricultural training program which includes preliminary screening and consideration for U.S. program candidacy.
This fee is non-refundable.
Total Program Fee — US$4,799
B. Acceptance of Program Fee — US$4,000
Upon acceptance for the J1 Agric Trainee Program, participants are required to pay an amount of US$4,000
Our program partners will then confirm your U.S. Host placement, and issue and deliver your visa documentation so that we may schedule your visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Ghana.
C. Final Balance of Program Fee — US$799
The balance of your PROGRAM FEE is due when your J-1 Visa is approved by U.S. Consular. This fee is payable and non-refundable once your J-1 visa is granted.
INCLUDE:
- D2019 (Must be signed by sponsors and by you)
- SEVIS Payment Receipt
- Health Insurance ( Must cover the duration of the training program)
- Form DS 7002- Training placement plan (Must be signed by you, program sponsors, and US Host)
- Stipend, Wages, Lodging, and/or Food may be provided by the U.S. Host, but vary by placement
EXCLUDE:
- DS-160 Form / MRV fee: $160 payable to the U.S. Embassy
- Round-trip Airfare to/from your U.S. Host, cost varies by dates & location
- Feeding and transportation fares from home to work and vice versa
If a Host accepts your participation, carefully review the Host Training Plan for compensation offered before accepting the placement.
Both the DS-160 & SEVIS I-901 forms & fees are non-refundable and must be filed/paid before your U.S. Embassy interview.
